Free Verse
Free verse is a type of poetry that that is free from the limitations of a regular meter or rhythm and does not rhyme with a fixed pattern. Since these poems these poems do not follow regular the regular rules of other forms, they provide the writer freedom and artistic expression.

The sun touches me gently, I feel it’s warm caress My life wanders around me, wearing the same white and black dress I watch them walk in clockwise circles, through morning and through night I look around and see no other dress for my poor life Their wardrobe stacked like pancakes, with the same pattern and color With not even brief accessories to smear on them like butter They try to pick new styles, attempting to be different But life is colorblind, and cannot see the changeless pigment Realizing now the fate of my poor friend, I sit down and watch my colorless life go around me till our ends… |
